Amazon Fail

In case you haven’t already heard, Amazon are stripping the sales rank from any book they deem to have ‘adult content’. They also won’t come up in searches, which basically means that without a direct link, nobody will ever find them. Funnily enough, ‘adult content’ doesn’t seem to apply to violent novels like ‘American Psycho’, [...]

Character Names

I don’t know about you, but I find character naming hard. There’s a tiny window at the start of a book when I can just scan through a list and decide, ‘Right! Emily Lewis sounds British and uptight!’ but if I miss that window…? Then my poor character get stuck as X, Y and Z [...]
